DEVITA’s Kim Wooten Recognized for Leadership in Sustainable Design

On March 29, the North Carolina Sustainable Energy Association honored leading women in clean energy with “WICE Hat” awards at a networking reception in partnership with the UNC Institute for the Environment.  DEVITA’s Kim Wooten, Principal-in-Charge of our Durham office, was honored to be included in this group of outstanding women in clean energy.  Kim is DEVITA’s sustainability practice leader and serves on the North Carolina Building Code Council in the electrical engineering seat. Additionally, she serves as both Chair of the NCBCC’s Electrical ad hoc committee and as Chair of NCBCC’s Energy ad hoc committee. The Energy ad hoc committee is currently writing the new Energy Code for North Carolina, which will be based on the IECC 2021. Congratulations Kim!
