Darren is responsible for overall management of DEVITA, and the direct management of one of its two consulting engineering divisions. In his role as president, Darren’s primary responsibility is the alignment of the firm’s culture with its values, purpose and mission, in pursuit of its strategic goals, for the benefit of its clients and employee-owners. Darren graduated from Bob Jones University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Accounting, and is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Global Management Accountant. Prior to joining DEVITA, he was a valued consultant on accounting and tax matters, serving a variety of corporate and individual clients at Cherry Bekaert, LLP. He is a member of several professional accounting organizations, including the AICPA and SCACPA, and is a member of Chief Executive Boards International.
