Project DescriptionDEVITA provided the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection design and services for a new construct fire station. The building has two levels with company living quarters, training and support areas, plus an emergency operations center. The station has a heated, central four-equipment bay area with an exhaust system that extracts all fumes. The mechanical, plumbing, and electrical design is based on energy-saving and lower impact concepts that utilize energy recovery systems, plus solar water heating systems and high efficiency lighting systems.
